District Average Scores

District Score Change Map
Higher fourth-grade mathematics scores in five districts and one district scored lower compared to 2017

When comparing Trial Urban District Assessment (TUDA) results in mathematics at grade 4 in 2019 with those from 2017, the previous assessment year,

  • 5 districts scored higher,
  • 1 district scored lower, and
  • 21 districts showed no significant change in scores.

Of the five TUDA districts that scored higher in 2019 compared to 2017, two districts scored lower than the large city average score and three districts had average scores that were not significantly different from the large city average. The one TUDA district that scored lower in 2019 did not have a significantly different score than the large city average.

Explore the interactive map below to see trends in average scores for each TUDA district. Click on a district name to see performance details for the district, its home state, large city, and the nation (public). Scroll down to view the magnitude of average score changes across TUDA districts.
