Social-Emotional Supports Provided by Schools
School administrators of students taking the 2024 NAEP mathematics assessment were asked: In this school year, have social-emotional supports (e.g., counseling or a toll-free hotline) been provided to students since the period of extended remote and hybrid learning because of the COVID-19 pandemic? Below are the full overall responses to this question, as well as the percentages of the combined “Yes for most students” and “Yes for all students” response categories across selected student groups and jurisdictions that participated in the NAEP state assessment and Trial Urban District Assessment (TUDA).
