District Average Scores
Select a district/jurisdiction using the drop-down menu to see how its average score compares to the national average for public schools, the average score for large city schools, and to other TUDA districts. Districts/jurisdictions are grouped in relation to whether they scored higher than, not significantly different from, or lower than the selected focal district/jurisdiction. Use the NAEP District Profiles Tool to perform further comparisons of district/jurisdictions based on student group performance.
When comparing Trial Urban District Assessment (TUDA) average scores in reading for grade 4 public school students in 2017 with those from 2015, the previous assessment year,
- 1 district scored higher, and
- 20 districts showed no significant change in scores.

2015 and 2017
To view score changes for fourth-grade public school students in reading between 2017 and previous assessment years, use the drop-down menu to select a comparison year. The results will show the size of the score change between 2017 and the selected comparison year for each TUDA district. Explore score-point changes between any combinations of assessment years. To see whether the score change in one district is statistically different from the change in another district, use the NAEP District Profiles Tool.
