State Average Scores
When comparing state/jurisdiction average scores in mathematics for fourth-grade public school students in 2017 with those from 2015, the previous assessment year,
- 2 states/jurisdictions scored higher,
- 10 states scored lower, and
- 41 states/jurisdictions showed no significant change in scores.

To view score changes for fourth-grade public school students in mathematics between 2017 and previous assessment years, use the drop-down menu to select a comparison year. The results will show the size of the score change between 2017 and the selected comparison year for each state/jurisdiction.
