Findings
- When compared to large central city schools nationally, average scores in 2007 were higher or comparable to students eligible for the National School Lunch Program in Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Houston, New York City, and San Diego, and lower in Austin, Cleveland, and Los Angeles.
