Findings

  • The average score for public school students was higher in 2007 than in both previous assessments.
  • In 1998 and 2007, students in Catholic schools had higher average scores than students in public schools.

NOTE: Sample size was insufficient to permit a reliable estimate for Catholic schools in 2002 and for private schools in 1998, 2002, and 2007. Private schools include Catholic, other religious, and nonsectarian private schools. View complete data with standard errors.
