Average scores increased for public school students at both grades

Findings

  • The average score for public school students was higher in 2007 than in both previous assessments.
  • Students in private and Catholic schools had higher average scores in 2007 than in 1998.
  • In 1998 and 2007, students in private and Catholic schools had higher average scores than students in public schools.
