Findings

  • The percentages of students performing at or above both Basic and Proficient in the Northeast were higher in 2007 than in all other regions.
  • The percentages of students performing at or above both Basic and Proficient in the Midwest were higher than in the South and West.
  • The percentage of students performing at or above Basic was higher in the South than in the West.
