The gap between male and female graduates earning science credits decreased from 2005 to 2009. In 2005 and 2009 there were no male-female gaps in mathematics credits earned.
In 2009, male and female graduates earned on average more credits in English than they earned in 1990, but neither earned more credits than in 2005. Female graduates on average earned more English credits than male graduates in 2009.
In 2009, both male and female graduates earned more credits in social studies than in all previous years. Female graduates on average earned more social studies credits than male graduates in 2009.
