Trend in twelfth-grade NAEP writing achievement-level results, by gender
Findings
- Higher percentages of both male and female students performed at or above both Basic and Proficient in 2007 than in 1998.
- Higher percentages of both male and female students performed at or above Basic in 2007 than in 2002, and the percentage of female students at Advanced was smaller in 2007 than in 2002.
