Compared to 2009, average scores for students at the 25th and 50th percentiles were higher in 2011 in Atlanta, Chicago, and Detroit, among other changes to average scores at selected percentiles for districts.
Beginning in 2009, results for charter schools are excluded from the TUDA results if they are not included in the school district’s Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) report to the U.S. Department of Education.
