Classroom Context: Civics Instruction

As part of the 2010 civics assessment, twelfth-grade students were asked if they studied civics or government in high school (grades 9, 10, 11, and 12). The percentage of students who responded in each category are below.

In 2010, approximately 97 percent of twelfth-graders reported that they studied civics or government in high school.
