Trend in eighth-grade NAEP reading average scores in Atlanta, by student-reported parental education level

Findings

  • Students who reported having at least one parent with a college degree had a higher average score in 2007 than in 2002.
  • Students who reported having at least one parent with some education after high school had a higher average score in 2007 than in 2002.
