District Science Results for Students With Disabilities Who Could Be Assessed

Compared to students in large central city schools...

  • at grade 4 in Austin and Charlotte, students with disabilities who could be assessed had higher average scores, while in Los Angeles and New York City such students had lower average scores.
  • at grade 8 in Austin, Charlotte, and San Diego, students with disabilities who could be assessed had higher average scores, while in Atlanta, Chicago, and Los Angeles such students had lower average scores.
