Prior to 2005, students were identified as either ELL or non-ELL; in 2005, students were identified as ELL, non-ELL, or formerly ELL, and the last two categories were collapsed for reporting. The results for ELL are based on students who were assessed and cannot be generalized to the total population of such students.
