Achievement-level results in NAEP writing for male eighth-grade public school students, by jurisdiction: 2007

 

Findings

  • Compared to large central city public schools nationally, 9 of 10 participating districts had higher or comparable percentages of male students performing at or above Basic.
  • Compared to large central city schools nationally, 8 of 10 participating districts had comparable percentages of male students performing at or above Proficient.
