Classroom Context: Activities with Computers

As part of the 2010 U.S. history assessment, twelfth-graders were asked about the extent to which they used computers to do research projects about topics in history using a CD or the Internet throughout their time in high school. The percentage of students who responded in each category are shown below.

Grade 4
Grade 8
Grade 12

Approximately 63 percent of twelfth-graders reported using computers to do research for U.S. history to at least a moderate extent throughout their time in high school.
