Score in music lower for students with disabilities (SD) than for non-SD students

Average responding scale score in NAEP music at grade 8, by status as students with disabilities (SD): 2008

Findings

  • The average music responding score of eighth-grade students with disabilities who could be assessed was 115. 
  • The score gap between students with disabilities who could be assessed and students without disabilities was 39 points.
